Disability advocate and award-winning comedian Madeleine Stewart charms audiences everywhere with a sweet demeanour, veiling razor-sharp wit. With over a decade of experience in standup comedy, you may have seen Madeleine perform with the likes of Adam Hills, Rove McManus, & Reuben Kaye.

Creator of the viral video on Marriage Equality for ABC iView (reaching 2.4mil views) earned her the 2024 ABC Story Teller Scholarship. Madeleine continues to work with ABC as a television presenter for Compass.

Practicing what she preaches, Madeleine won the Stella Young Award (2024) and the AMP Tomorrowmaker award (2019) for her advocacy and production of inclusive, accessible comedy shows - specifically Crips & Creeps.

Her satirical short film 'Inspire Me' which explores toxic inspiration, won Best Documentary at the Australian Independent Film Festival (AIFF).

Currently, Madeleine is touring her comedy show "Are You Pulling my Leg?" across Australia - celebrating disabled comedians and heavily advocating for more accessible creative spaces.

Andrew Leigh is the Assistant Minister for Productivity, Competition, Charities and Treasury, and Federal Member for Fenner in the ACT. Prior to being elected in 2010, Andrew was a professor of economics at the Australian National University. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard, having graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours in Arts and Law. Andrew is a past recipient of the Economic Society of Australia's Young Economist Award and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences.

His many books include Disconnected (2010), Battlers and Billionaires: The Story of Inequality in Australia (2013), The Economics of Just About Everything (2014), Fair Game: Lessons From Sport for a Fairer Society and a Stronger Economy (2022) and The Shortest History of Economics (2024).

Andrew is a keen Ironman triathlete and marathon runner, and hosts a podcast called The Good Life: Andrew Leigh in Conversation, about living a happier, healthier and more ethical life. Andrew is the father of three sons - Sebastian, Theodore and Zachary, and lives with his wife Gweneth in Canberra. He is a member of the First Nations Digital Inclusion Advisory Group, made up of First Nations Australians who are experts and advocates in digital inclusion and the media and broadcasting sector.

Lisa Sarago is an Indigenous leader, social entrepreneur and advocate working at the intersection of technology, clean energy, cultural capability and community-led development.

As CEO of the Land on Heart Foundation, Lisa leads initiatives that strengthen economic participation, digital inclusion and governance capacity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Her work focuses on practical pathways into technology, data, renewable energy and emerging industries - ensuring communities are not only consulted in the transition to a digital and clean-energy economy, but positioned as leaders, owners and decision-makers.

Lisa is also the Founder of Digital Trackers, an Indigenous-led start-up supporting organisations to embed cultural capability and move beyond compliance-based approaches to reconciliation. Through organisational learning, stakeholder engagement and change management strategies, she works with corporate and government partners to deliver sustainable, systems-level change.

Recognising the under-representation of Indigenous women in technology, Lisa founded Tiddas in Tech - a grassroots network elevating Indigenous women in STEM and digital industries. Her advocacy for Indigenous visibility and leadership in technology has contributed to national conversations on ESG, data sovereignty and inclusive innovation.

Lisa was recognised as Indigenous Leader of the Year (Women in Digital Awards, 2022) for her contribution to advancing Indigenous participation in the digital economy. She is a sought-after speaker on Indigenous data sovereignty, workforce development and community-led clean energy transition.

Lee has over 30 years’ experience in the technology industry, having been in technical, sales and business development roles. Most recently he was the CTO for Microsoft ANZ and then lead the Asia region for Microsoft’s global Responsible AI team.

Lee has worked across the UK, Asia, and Australia, before joining the Federal Government. In addition to his time at Microsoft, Lee led the Internet of Things team for Amazon Web Services in Asia Pacific, he was a CISSP security architect with RSA Security and worked at both Tivoli and IBM as a software engineer.

During his time in industry, Lee has supported Governments around the world as an independent contributor; having been a member of the Singapore AI-Verify Board and a founding member of the NSW AI Assurance Committee.

Today Lee leads the Australian National AI Centre (NAIC), with a mission to enable and support Australian Industry and society in its adoption of and acceleration through AI technology and services. He has a clear focus on the need for consistent and appropriate responsible safety mechanisms to support AI, balanced with the need to empower Australians with the confidence and trust in the positive and transformative potential of AI.

Johanna Weaver is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Tech Policy Design Institute. A reformed commercial litigator, a recovering diplomat, and an escaped professor, Ms Weaver champions tech policy as a tool to shape technology for the long-term benefit of humanity.
